• —Minor variations in handcrafted and embroidered pieces — such as slight differences in thread placement or embroidery density — are inherent to artisan craftsmanship and are not considered defects unless explicitly stated otherwise

• —Promotional prices and discount codes are valid only for the specified period and cannot be applied retroactively to completed orders

Orders & Contract Formation

Understanding when a legally binding contract is formed between us protects both parties:

• —Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase — not a binding contract. The contract is formed only when we send you an Order Confirmation email explicitly confirming your order
• —An automated "Thank you for your order" or payment success screen is an acknowledgement, not a contract. The Order Confirmation email is the binding document
• —We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our sole discretion — including orders that appear fraudulent, orders placed with an invalid payment method, orders where stock has been exhausted, or orders that cannot be fulfilled to the stated delivery address
• —If we cancel a confirmed order for any reason other than your fault, a full refund will be processed within 5–7 business days with an explanation
• —By completing checkout, you confirm that all information provided — including delivery address, contact details, and payment information — is accurate and complete

Payments

All transactions on sterlingwear.in are processed securely through Razorpay, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment gateway.

• —We do not store your card details, CVV, UPI PIN, or net banking credentials on our servers at any point. All sensitive payment data is handled exclusively by Razorpay
• —If a payment fails but your bank account has been debited, the amount is typically reversed within 5–7 business days. Contact us if it has not been returned within this period
• —For COD orders, please have the exact amount ready at the time of delivery. Our delivery partners do not carry change
• —Repeated non-payment or COD order refusals may result in COD being disabled for your account

Shipping & Delivery

Full shipping details — including zones, rates, and delivery timelines — are set out in our Shipping Policy. The key conditions that form part of these Terms are:

• —Delivery timelines are estimates only. We are not liable for delays caused by logistics partners, weather conditions, public holidays, natural disasters, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control
• —Risk of loss and title for purchased products transfers to you upon delivery to the address provided at checkout. Once delivered, the product is your responsibility
• —If a shipment is returned to us because of an incorrect address, failed delivery attempts, or refusal to accept delivery, we will notify you. Re-shipping charges will apply for a second delivery attempt
• —We ship across India. International shipping is not currently available
• —Sterling is not responsible for any customs, duties, or import charges — though these are not applicable for domestic Indian orders

Returns & Refunds

• —Sterling's liability for any order issue is limited to the value of the order in question

• —You grant Sterling a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, publish, and display your content across our website, social media channels, email campaigns, and other marketing materials — with or without credit to you
