Everything you need to know about ordering, sizing, shipping, and returns — answered in detail.

Orders

Browse our collections, select the product, choose your size and colour, and tap Add to Cart. At checkout, enter your delivery details and complete payment via UPI, card, net banking, or COD. A confirmation email will arrive within minutes.

Orders may be modified or cancelled within 2 hours of placement. After that our warehouse begins processing and changes may not be possible. Contact us immediately via WhatsApp with your order number for the fastest resolution.

Once dispatched you will receive an SMS and email with a live tracking link from our delivery partner. You may also WhatsApp us your order number at any time for an instant update.

We sincerely apologise. Please photograph the item alongside the shipping label and contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We will arrange a free pickup and send a replacement or issue a full refund — entirely your choice.

Yes. For orders of 10 or more pieces, email us at support@sterlingwear.in with the product name, quantity, and your requirements. We extend special pricing for bulk buyers.

Shipping & Delivery
Free shipping on all orders above ₹1999. Standard rates apply below this threshold.

Estimated timelines from the day of dispatch:

  • Metro cities — Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata — 3–5 business days
  • Tier 2 & 3 cities — 5–7 business days
  • Remote areas / J&K / North East — 7–10 business days

Orders are dispatched within 1–2 business days of payment confirmation.

Yes — we ship to every part of India. Delivery to J&K and Northeastern states takes 7–10 business days and may carry a small additional shipping charge. COD availability depends on your pin code; please check at checkout.

First check the tracking link sent to your email or SMS. If it has been more than 10 business days since dispatch, please contact us with your order number and we will investigate with our delivery partner immediately.

Returns & Exchanges

We accept returns within 7 days of delivery. Items must be unworn and unwashed, with all original tags and packaging intact. Items marked Final Sale, or that have been altered or customised, are not eligible.

Contact us within 7 days of delivery via WhatsApp or email with your order number and the required size. We will check availability and arrange a free pickup of the original piece. The first exchange on every order is free of charge.

Once we receive and inspect your returned item — typically 2–3 days after pickup — the refund is processed within 5–7 business days to your original payment method. COD refunds are issued via bank transfer or UPI. You will receive an email confirmation once initiated.

No — cut or altered unstitched fabric cannot be returned or exchanged. If the fabric arrives damaged or is an incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours with photographs and we will resolve it promptly.

Sizing & Fit

Every product page carries a Size Guide link. Measure your bust, waist, and hip in inches and match them to the chart. For ethnic wear, we always recommend sizing up if you fall between two sizes — a tailor can adjust the fit, but cannot add fabric that isn't there.

Not certain? WhatsApp us your measurements and we will personally recommend the correct size for the piece you have in mind.

All garments are cut with 1–2 inches of ease included, meaning the garment is slightly larger than the stated measurement to allow comfortable movement. If you fall between sizes, size up for suits and pherans; kurtis are generally true to size.

Pherans are traditionally worn loose, layered over salwars or leggings. We recommend ordering one full size up from your usual fit for an authentic, comfortable silhouette. A detailed pheran size chart is available on each product page.

Payments

We accept UPI (GPay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM), Credit and Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay), Net Banking across all major Indian banks, and Cash on Delivery across most pin codes. All online payments are secured by Razorpay.

Yes — COD is available across most pin codes in India and will appear as an option at checkout. Please keep the exact amount ready at delivery. COD orders carry a maximum value of ₹10,000.

This is a bank-side hold that is automatically reversed within 5–7 business days. If the amount has not been returned after 7 days, email us at support@sterlingwear.in with a screenshot of the deduction and we will follow up with Razorpay on your behalf.

Products & Care

We photograph every piece in natural light to represent colours as faithfully as possible. However, screen brightness and calibration can cause minor variations. If you would like additional photographs or a short video of a specific piece, WhatsApp us the product name.

To preserve embroidery threads and fabric integrity:

  • Dry clean for the first wash
  • If hand washing, use cold water with a mild detergent
  • Do not wring — gently press out excess water
  • Dry flat in shade; avoid direct sunlight to prevent colour fade
  • Iron on the reverse side with low heat only

Bestsellers are restocked regularly; seasonal and limited-edition pieces may not return. Use the Notify Me button on any sold-out product to receive an email the moment it is back. You may also WhatsApp us the product name to check restock status directly.
